  • Optical Character Recognition and developing a plugin to read, parse, and analyze data on a webapp.
  • Social Distancing detector using Deep Learning, OpenCV, and YOLOv3 with a paper to be published by The University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
  • A polaroid filter extraction application using Conditional Adversarial Networks and OpenCV. Paper to be published by ITNG.

Information Technology Specialist --> Currently working part-time for the Deptartment of Engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas

  • Monitor internal subnet for intrusions and develop documentation and procedures for incident response.
  • Develop new web-apps for monitoring and logging and automate processes and procedures.
  • Assess and troubleshoot computer problems brought by students, faculty and staff.
  • Maintain and monitor workstations, labs, student-facing servers, faculty-facing servers, and networks.

Cybersecurity Intern --> Currently interning for Maryland Innovation and Security Institute, in the Cyber Education Diversity Cybership as part of the Cybersecurity Education Diversity Initiative (CEDI), a DoD initiative. The CEDI Project is a collaboration between National Security Agency’s National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-E) Program Management Office and the DoD’s Office of Industrial Policy, Small Business Program’s (OSBP) Mentor Protégé Program(MPP), to expand national access to cyber education.

Certified by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Acreditation Body as a Registered Practitionner. Credentials are publicly available in the CMMC-AB marketpalce

  • Completed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification CMMC - as a Registered Practitioner. Credentials are publicly available in the CMMC-AB marketplace
  • Building skills and hands-on experience with CMMC assesments in the Jensie Platform.
  • Building skills in network and log analysis using Elastic traningns for Elastic Stack.

Cybersecurity Club Officer --> Currently an officer of the University of Nevada Las Vegas' cybersecurity club layer zero where I manage the website and write cybersecurity blog posts.

  • Compete in CTFs both individually and in team games with layer-zero membeers.
  • Spinned-up, configured, and set up an instance of Security Shepherd, a training platform developed by OWASP for club triniing sessions.
  • Organize cybersecurity conferences and trainings for the club.
  • Train new members on introductory subjects to cybersecurity, linux, and networking.

Volunteer --> Currently volunteer for Cimarron Memorial High School through Layer-Zero in a program were we mentor and guide their newly formed cybersecurity club.

Volunteer --> Currently volunteer for my local OWASP chapter in Las Vegas, where I help set up the quaterly member meetings and got sponsored by them to attend Black Hat.
